The disappearance of Laura Bradbury is one of the most haunting mysteries associated with America’s national parks. On June 30, 1984, the three-year-old vanished while camping with her family at Joshua Tree National Park.  

Six-year-old Dennis Martin was camping with his family when he disappeared in dense forest. It happened on June 14, 1969. One of the largest searches in U.S. national park history failed to locate him. 

On December 1, 1946, the 18-year-old college student from Bennington, Vermont, set out for a solo hike along the Long Trail, a popular stretch of rugged wilderness in the Green Mountains.  She was never seen again.
